Installation and dismantle of a head of the block of cylinders

Bolts of a head of the block of cylinders should be tightened from the sequence designated by figures. At the left the six-cylinder engine (the arrow shows the movement direction) and on the right – the 4-cylinder engine is shown.

To you are necessary: a dinamometrichesky key, a long natural internal gear wreath Т55 (for the four-cylinder engine) or TORX E14 key (for the six-cylinder engine) and new laying.

Dismantle

Four-cylinder engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Bring a face-to-face part of the car into service situation (head of the Detail of a body).
  2. Dismantle the vyazkostny fan.
  3. Remove maple and klinovo-ridge belts, unscrew the device for a tension of belts.
  4. Merge cooling liquid through a carving stopper of a drain opening of a radiator.
  5. Remove the socket on the sensor of a stream of fresh air, the electromagnetic valve of the coal filter and the terminal cascade of capacity of system of ignition (only 1,8 l the engine).
  6. Unscrew the case of the air filter assembled, dismantle an air hose to a butterfly valve branch pipe.
  7. Dismantle facing of the engine and unscrew a cover of a head of the block of cylinders
  8. Unscrew a branch pipe of cooling liquid with the temperature sensor behind a head of the block of cylinders.
  9. Unscrew a broad tank with cooling liquid.
  10. Disconnect sockets on all valves of injection and on the Hall sensor.
  11. In the engine with working volume of 1,6 l remove all sockets of spark plugs and a wire of a high voltage.
  12. Unscrew arms of an inlet collector.
  13. Unscrew an inlet collector from a head of the block of cylinders and put aside.
  14. Disconnect the wire socket to a lambda probe, bare a wire.
  15. Unscrew an exhaust pipe ahead from a knee and wring out back.
  16. Dismantle a cover of a gear belt and put the cylinder No. 1 piston in the provision VMT of the moment of ignition, see in head above.
  17. Weaken a fixing bolt of a tension roller.
  18. Note the direction of movement of a gear belt for the subsequent assembly and remove it.
  19. Weaken bolts of a head of the block of cylinders in return sequence according to the inhaling scheme on the right down.

Dismantle

Six-cylinder engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Unscrew facing of the engine and a cover of a klinovo-ridge belt.
  2. Dismantle klinovo-ridge and gear belts (see the section Generator).
  3. Unscrew an exhaust pipe from a knee.
  4. Merge cooling liquid through a carving stopper of a drain opening of the engine and a radiator.
  5. Unscrew an air hose between the sensor of a stream of fresh air and an inlet collector.
  6. Disconnect the socket at the Hall sensor.
  7. Disconnect case ventilation on a head of the block of cylinders at the left and on the right.
  8. Remove a vacuum hose on a butterfly valve branch pipe at the left.
  9. Take out from clips a cover of a shumopoglotitel of absorption and unscrew both bolts under a cover.
  10. Wring out a shumopoglotitel back and lift up.
  11. Remove the vacuum pipeline at a shumopoglotitel at the left, remove a shumopoglotitel.
  12. Unscrew a cover at the left the pipeline of valves of injection.
  13. Take out from clips a butterfly valve clamp, hang out a butterfly valve and postpone it.
  14. Disconnect the socket of the sensor of temperature of soaked-up air and the valve of stabilization of idling.
  15. Disconnect submitting and returnable fuel pipelines.
  16. Unscrew connection with weight behind a butterfly valve branch pipe.
  17. Disconnect a vacuum hose to the control unit before a butterfly valve branch pipe.
  18. Disconnect the socket at a butterfly valve.
  19. Unscrew a vacuum hose to the electromagnetic valve of the coal filter. Dismantle the electromagnetic valve.
  20. Disconnect all sockets of spark plugs.
  21. Disconnect all electric sockets of valves of injection.
  22. Disconnect sockets of a sensor of a detonation and heating a lambda probe.
  23. Disconnect sockets a lambda probe and postpone wires.
  24. Disconnect sockets of the sensor of pressure of oil and the sensor of temperature of oil.
  25. Remove sockets of valves of injection at the left and on the right.
  26. Unscrew an arm of a hydraulic hose at an inlet collector. Do not disconnect a hydraulic hose.
  27. Unscrew an inlet collector and take out it.
  28. Close openings a pure rag.
  29. Unscrew a tube of supply of cooling liquid on a head of the block of cylinders behind.
  30. Dismantle a lambda probe.
  31. Unscrew the heat-shielding screen of a final collector.
  32. Unscrew a head of the block of cylinders.
  33. Dismantle a back cover of a gear belt.
  34. Unscrew a hose of a broad tank with hydraulic liquid to the pump at a head of the block of cylinders.
  35. Weaken bolts of a head of the block of cylinders in return sequence to that, as shown below. For this purpose it is necessary to cool the engine as the hot head of the block of cylinders can be deformed after dismantle.
  36. Lift a head of the block of cylinders. If it separates not at once, easy postukivaniye a synthetic hammer will help.

Check of the dismantled head of the block of cylinders

For all engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove old laying. Sealing surfaces of a head of the block of cylinders and the block of the engine should be absolutely pure and free from the laying remains. Do not scratch the sharp tool a soft sealing surface of a head of the block of cylinders. Jags can cause damage of laying of a head of the block of cylinders in the future.
  2. Check a head of the block of cylinders on deformation (especially important at laying damage as a result of an overheat).
  3. Put lengthways a long metal ruler or guaranteed equal metal corner on the cleared sealing surface of a head of the block of cylinders.
  4. Check a template, whether there is in any place a gleam more than 0,1 mm. In this case the head of the block of cylinders should be ground before installation.
  5. The head of the block of cylinders can be finished only in certain limits. Its minimum height measured from top to the bottom sealing surface, should be in the four-cylinder engine of 139,25 mm and in six-cylinder – 132,75 mm.

Installation

For all engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If the head of the block of cylinders changes, it is necessary to oil slightly directing hydropushers. It also extends on heads of the block of cylinders with already established cam-shaft.
  2. If it is necessary, establish a locking cover on a replaced head of the six-cylinder engine.
  3. The carving of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders and openings on the block of the engine should be pure and without damages, otherwise at an inhaling of bolts the inhaling moment can be distorted.
  4. In carving openings on the block of the engine there should not be a water or oil, differently a cast material can become torn in the field of carving openings.
  5. Turn the crankshaft in the direction opposite to rotation in order that any piston was not in situation VMT a little, differently at installation of a head of the block of cylinders the open valve can face the piston. It is necessary to track it also at the subsequent installation of a gear belt.
  6. Laying of a head of the block of cylinders impose on the engine block so that number of a detail or designation "up" were turned to a head of the block of cylinders.
  7. Establish a head of the block of cylinders. Pay thus attention to centering pins and the driven plugs.
  8. In the beginning screw up all bolts of a head of the block of cylinders manually and then tighten them in the sequence shown below:

    3-I inhaling step Exactly tighten bolts a rigid key on a half-turn further (the same sequence). It can be made also on three quarters of a turn

  9. All bolts are finally screwed up by such way.

     Important: to observe sequence of an inhaling at installation of an inlet collector of the six-cylinder engine.


  10. Mount a gear belt.
  11. Besides, in the four-cylinder engine with working volume of 1,6 l check ignition installation (head ignition System).
